Begin your North Island adventure!

Applying to NIC is easy. Apply online, by mail, fax, or email. NIC will send confirmation letting you know that your application arrived and you're on your way.

Applications are accepted on an on-going basis all year. Terms begin in September, January, and May (ESL and limited University Studies). We recommend that students apply four to six months prior to their planned start date.

Qualification is simple

To qualify for admission to North Island College you must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate.

TOEFL/IELTS language test results aren't necessary, but submit them if you have them. If not, students may successfully complete the college-prep level of NIC's English programs before entering academic programs directly.

Students applying to non-ESL programs must also meet the academic and admission requirements of their programs.
