Guaranteed admission is a great choice for anyone interested in completing Emily Carr's Bachelor of Fine Arts (visual arts, critical and cultural practices). The agreement bases university admission on your academic performance at NIC rather than your high school transcripts. This creates a previously unavailable admission guarantee for mature students, current NIC students, individuals who may not have previously completed Grade 12 or students whose final high school grades may not have met Emily Carr's competitive first-year entry levels.
How does it work? Upon completing the Fine Arts diploma program with a cumulative GPA of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or higher you will be automatically accepted into Year 3 of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (major in visual arts or critical and cultural practices) degree program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
